Founded in 2006, iQ Consulting is a Minneapolis based Agency Performance Consultancy.
The sales training fledgling started with 4 Agency clients, and focused on producer sales training.
iQ trademarks it’s comparison contrast sales approach used in the field by founder David Connolly.
Short term results were excellent, but the acceleration of organic growth lost momentum as managers and producers fell back into old habits. Founder concludes traditional sales training doesn’t work for most agencies.
iQ develops its continuous in field coaching and reinforcement platform and begins coaching producers on actual sales calls.
iQ develops it’s Sales Leadership Platform to help Agency leadership sustain momentum through Passion, Process, Activity and Accountability.
iQ triples in size.
iQ begins to partner with Carriers to train and coach Marketing, Underwriting, and Production staff.
iQ creates: Niche Program Development –The New Producer Apprenticeship Program –The Sales Leadership Conferences and the No Plateau book optimization process
iQ begins work on A New Producer School.
iQ launches HPA The High Performance Agent Academy. To date over 100 producers have graduated from HPA.
iQ works with Western National Insurance to launch it’s Pioneer Class of business in the Western United States.
